Reducing the manual handling risks

We are seeing an increasingly large number of portable actuators being used on-site these days to reduce manual handling and the strain on the operators to open / close valves.  Whilst reducing strain and the operational time might be the primary purpose of the portable actuator, there is a safety risk to the operators if the portable actuators are not handled with care.

Safety is a core value at Acrodyne and hence, an anti-rotation static drive plate is fitted to every gearbox we supply to ensure operator safety when using our AcroGears portable actuator. Here we have the APB60N battery powered portable actuator to be used on 9 x AcroGears AG-B3 gearboxes to open / close 9 x multi-turn valves. All fitted with our anti-rotation static drive plate.
