EFFICIENCY GAINS AT VALVE SITE

This is a continuation to a previous post where Andrew Hartley conducted a sight survey at Dights Falls located on the Yarra River downstream of the Merri Creek.

The project has been delivered and installed. The result of this initiative provides a solution to the challenges of manually operating large valves and at times with significant turns for full travel. The addition of the gearboxes complete with pedestals and overtorque protectors means that operators can safely use Acrodyne Pty Ltd portable actuator ensuring safe operation to both the operator and the assets.
